Plextor PlexEasy External DVD/CD Burner
Plextor announced not only the M3 Pro SSD at the CES 2012, but also the Plextor PlexEasy External DVD/CD Burner, an external stand-alone DVD/CD burner. Plextor PlexEasy External DVD/CD Burner is not an ordinary DVD burner. The compact 8x writer has a built-in SD/MMC memory card slot and a USB port for connecting directly to a wide variety of devices including both mass storage devices and Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) devices such cameras, smartphones, tablets, and camcorders.
Plextor PlexEasy External DVD/CD Burner allows you to burn photos directly from a camera (point-and-shoot or DSLR) or smartphone (iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc.) without going near a computer or learning a complicated software package. It can also transfer files from an SD card to DVD or CD discs easily. Of course, you may want to connect the PlexEasy to a PC for data backup.
