Intel SSD 520 Series Solid State Drive is a storage device that was just released by Intel. SSD Solid State Drive 520 Series uses Intel’s 25nm process NAND memory technology. For those PC enthusiasts, gamers, professionals or small-medium businesses (SMBs), this device is perfect, the new Intel SSD using a SATA III interface and processor LSI SandForce flash storage with the release of co-defined and validated Intel firmware.
Intel SSD 520 Series Solid State Drive using the media to provide up to 550MB / s read and 520MB / s and write speeds up to 80,000 4K random write IOPS maximum and up to 50,000 4K random read IOPS performance. Available in capacities from 60GB to 480GB, the drive including the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256 bit encryption capability and strong password protection for added security.
Intel SSD Solid State Drive 520 Series is marketed at a price as follows, based on the quantity of 1000 units: 60GB for $ 149, 120GB for $ 229, 180GB for $ 369, 240GB to 480GB for $ 509 and $ 999. All models will come in 9.5mm form factor and the model 120GB, 180GB and 240GB also be available in 7mm form factor.
